• Add water as required to floor drains, including the one in the garage
• Clean chimney

• Clean filters:
• Range hood
• Air exchanger
• Furnace filter
• Check smoke detectors

Every 3 months

• Clean and/or change the furnace filter

Every 6 months

• Clean smoke detectors
• Check door and window seals and lubrication, if any
• Check roof and repair shingles, if necessary
• Clean gutters

Annually

• Inspect exterior facing
• Repair any cracks
• Empty and clean hot water tank

Every autumn

• Check roof
• Remove exterior hoses
• Protect trees and shrubs
• Check exterior outlets

During the winter

• Do not use salt on concrete walkways and balconies
• Do not force handles on frozen windows
